Male Choir LIRA was established in 1990. It is formed from secondary schools and collages in Warsaw. Our choir sings over 80 pieces of sacral or folk music. All repertoire is sung a cappella. Choir gave over 500 concerts in churches, concert halls, and cultural centers and on fairs. Through out the years it won bronze, silver and gold "Tuning Fork" on Polish festival of children and youth choirs a cappella in Bydgoszcz. It won Warsaw contest of sacral music "Sacrosong". Also it won Silver Diploma in 1st Choir Olympics LINZ 2000 in Austria. It won second prize in Polish Songs' Festival in Katowice (November 2000).

In year 2001 the choir won second prize on Polish Festival of Carols in Bedzin, silver "Tunning Fork" on Polish festival of children and youth choirs a cappella in Bydgoszcz. Our coir participated in non-competetive festival in Egeln (Germany)

In July we won two bronze medals on International Choir Festival in Preveza (Greece). In July 2002 we made the tour to Belarus. We gave many concerts and visited very interesting places.
